Over the weekend, I tried something really very hard. THE BEST effort, perhaps, that I have ever given into something in my life.

I was searching for a person. But due to my carelessness, I am not holding any contact information. Any means no email, no hp, no nothing. The only thing I know about this person is that this person is leaving Singapore for good on Monday.

So I was basically hunting for a person... until 2 hours ago I declare failure.

From this, I realised/learnt something important, to me.



Sometimes in life, you just dont get your way, even when you are really desperate for it, even when you reallllllllly realllllllly want something, and realllllllllllllllllllllllly gave in your SUPER BEST effort.

In short, if its not meant to be yours, its not - despite the amount of effort you poured in.


BUT,


that doesn't mean you shouldn't try at all.

Because after giving in all that you can give, even though its painful that you dont achieve your goal, you knew that you have really really tried, and you can live on without regrets.


AND,


I am still not willing to give up.

Hopefully, someday, the dream that is unfulfilled now will come true eventually. Someday.


SO,


Until that someday comes, I will work hard and become a better person.
