Recently, people asked if I were 19, 20.
I asked my grandma today if I looked better with or without specs. She said, "of course without! When you wore specs, you looked like you were over 30s! Now you look like your age!"
She's the 3rd one who said similar things to me this week, though 2 of my other friends whom I met up with said I looked exactly the same with and without specs.
Whatever that is, the most important thing is to be able to see. Lasik is just a kind of cosmetics.

When I was watching the Korean drama with my grandma just now, there was a line said by the mother that really really caught my attention.
She was doing laundry while her husband wanted her to go out with him to look for a nursey for their grandson. Her husband asked her why didn't her use the washing machine to wash all the clothes, but hand-washed some of them (while bringing some out for dry cleaning). She mumbled something about washing depends on the material of the clothes. While flipping through the pile of clothes, she then said,
Housework is like that. When you are not the one doing them, you would just think that they are housework. But when you are the one doing them, there's so much details to take care of. Also, when you do them, they seem to be the normal thing and other people never notice that housework has been done. Yet when you dont do them, they are so obvious and everyone starts to complain.
