3. south america has authorised illegal invoice services. the usual corruption peeps are the govt.
4. thai ppl can be born in clinics, and their official birth dates are later than their real birth dates. in china rural areas, the discrepancies can be years.
5. its fasting mth now.
6. in thai (when greeting) - at chin = friendly, at nose = respect, formal, at forehead = to Buddha
7. laos and thai speak similar language
8. laos ppl can usually speak thai, but thai are likely to not speak laos. (thai = subset of laos lang?!)
