I had the following conversation with a Japanese friend last night:

ME: Are you rich?
TM: No, why did you ask?
ME: Then how do you afford a BMW?
TM: I buy BMW because I like BMW so I buy BMW.
ME: ....

After that, there was a gathering. The following nationalities were invited - Thai, Taiwan, Japan, Laos, and me!

Well... yesterday noon during class, there was business communication. We learnt about cultural gap and did a case study on the Thais. One of the cultural difference is that they smile at everything even when they didn't agree, didn't hear, or didn't understand.

SO when they Thais were invited to the gathering last night, the Thais smiled.

and guess what...

Attendance came from Taiwan, Japan, Laos, me, and .... that's it!
