i went into the shop thinking of getting a sony T2 or T200... but just as mun's friend has said, sony is all about looks. what's more, the W series is suppose to be of a more inferior quality to the T series. So I was thinking of getting a Lumix (Panasonic). Their technologies is really quite great and I like the Panasonic brand. (Went to their factory to look at their products and its really impressive!!)So my mind was pretty much settled on Lumix FX55 when the salesman recommended me this FE-280. The function and quality is almost the samem as FX55, but its lighter (though the screen is 2.3inch, as compared to the 3.0 inch). The overal design for this is really quite nice... and Olympus do have a strong reputation in the camera world.. so I got this.
Then my mom said she'll give me yen to get a Japanese cam in Japan. She'll have this instead.
May be when I'm in Japan, I'll consider getting a T series sony again. Even though sony is more looks than quality, I dont need such a high quality camera as of now. As long as it makes me happy, why not?
