Finally 22.

Just as I force myself to listen to the wave clips by KTA on the differences between accounting treatments of operating leases and financial leases, also flipping through FRSs and trying to stay focus with a can of Coke Light, Kenny called. It was like 11.43pm. It was really sweet of him. So we chatted until my birthday and he wished me a happy birthday. Then he asked me about my birthday wishes... so here they are:

1. DO WELL in my final few terms in SMU. Graduate with a GPA higher than NOW. I'm hoping to maintain a Magna Cum Laude, but still hoping for higher GPA because currently its simply a borderline case. Moreover, when I used to achieve much better, I feel unrest at this!! OSUUUU! Now I'm MORE AND MORE CHARGED with ENERGY. I should start making up for lost time. FIGHTOOOOOOO!

2. DO WELL in JAPAN. I'm really going to get down to serious work. IUJ V. Wait for me!

3. Get an internship. In fact, get MANY internships offers.

4. Hope to stay in touch with all my friends, even as I leave this place physically, I want to be with them always.. PEACE & LOVE!

5. Health. I hope to stay healthy. Be healthy. Everyone around me stay healthy too!

6. FLY... and FLY with all others. FLY... and FLY higher.


Besides Kenny, Gu-san and Ayu both competed to wish me a happy birthday from Japan. Since Ayu's email came first, I replied him first, then Gu-san immediately. Now Gu-san is upset.. simply because he lost?!?! *what the... I have really cute friends don't I? :)

Then Neo and KC SMSed me at 12 sharp. Really sweet. Especially those SMSes that wishes me to be more beautiful and more successful.. *hahaha* Yes, I'm 22. Looking forward to collect Neo's present (he gave me Bleach toothbrush last last year so I replied his SMS saying that I hope its something more useful this year.. and He said he got me bra and panty)... Neo...

Followed by an email from Eri from Japan. Reallllllly sweet.. I'll tell you why later.

and then.. Ho Yin and RJ SMSed me. Both with same contents (e.g. same wishes, just that one in Chinese and the other in English) even though I'm pretty sure they dont know each other at all.

Ok.. then I decided to blog, and my younger brother walked in. He gave me SGD$50!! :D ANDDDD he gave me presents FROM JAPAN!! Really surprising. Eri passed it to him and asked him to pass it to me on my birthday........ ERIIIIIII..... ARIGATOU!! CHO-URESHII mo! :D

This is a soft-toy cakie. Memories start to bounce back on my cake craving moments with Eri.. (After the entrance ceremony there was another ceremony for AP House students, and Eri & I took up our forks sneaking around the place looking for cakes... ><)

I know why Eri got me this. Its because she's into these kinda scent and beauty products! I'm going to open it later (Its a sakura-scent, called "fu-ga"). Sakura?! OH its the sakura season in Japan now! Its been one whole year since I first went to APU for exchange, and now back in Singapore. I'm really really really looking forward to my IUJ experience now!!

Yup.. Now I'm CHARGED with energy. I'll reply some emails and SMSes from my dearest friends, and perhaps its time to get moving for real!

Actually, the happiest thing about this birthday is knowing that I have friends around the world, and that they still remember me and treasure the moments we had together.

I'm really really happy that those friends that I've been digging for their email addresses (my bad.. wasn't having good maintenance of my address book) and they've actually contacted me today. Some even tried calling from the other end of Earth. *sobbbb*
